WGBA

Senior Reporter

MacLeod is an Emmy® award-winning journalist and loves storytelling – whether it's covering breaking news in the field, producing compelling content behind the scenes, or delivering the top stories of the day.

The native Montanan comes to Green Bay, Wisconsin by way of Arkansas, Iowa, Indiana, and Illinois.

Mac was able to earn an Emmy® award with his team in 2017 for Newscast of the Year after he reported on a series of arsons in Waterloo, Iowa. During his time at KWWL, Mac was also able to uncover a funding flaw that affected how the state paid for transportation among rural school districts. That investigation ultimately led to new legislation to help rural families get their children to and from school.

While working in central Illinois, MacLeod started volunteering with Crime Stoppers. Mac says he decided to get involved with the group after someone tried stealing his car on his way to work.

However, Mac isn't only concerned about work. In his spare time, you can catch him sweating off his stress at the gym, water-skiing or hitting the slopes, and spending time with his Scottish Terrier, Rupert, and his rescue cat, Tater.
