According to a news release sent Friday, Green Bay Police says K9 Pyro is making great progress and is continuing to heal. On Friday, the dog reached a milestone of eating soft food while still maintaining a liquid diet.
K9 Pyro is a police dog who was stabbed by a suspect during an arrest last Sunday. The dog was rushed to an animal hospital where he had multiple surgeries.
The suspect, Sai Vang, is facing multiple criminal charges.
