GREEN BAY (NBC26) - A man is in custody after a stabbing Wednesday night in Green Bay.
Green Bay Police received a call around 11:15 p.m. from a man who said his throat had been cut with a knife on the 1800 block of August Street, and he was on his way to a hospital.
Police made contact with the victim as he arrived at the hospital. He was treated for serious injuries but is expected to recover.
Police investigated the incident overnight and eventually took a 55-year-old Green Bay resident into custody, and jailed him on charges of First Degree Reckless Injury.
Police say the two men knew each other and there is no danger to the public. The investigation is ongoing.
