GREEN BAY (NBC 26) — The Salvation Army Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center opened a new pavilion that will allow the community to learn and grow.

Officially, the pavilion is called the Women's Auxiliary Pavilion and is dedicated to Katie Small.

The pavilion was completed by the collaborative efforts of The Salvation Army, a Leadership Green Bay Project Team, and a variety of generous donors and community supporters.

Builders of the Women's Auxiliary Pavilion see it as a new gathering place where kids can get together with teachers and counselors to learn and grow under the roof.

The pavilion will also be a place for birthday parties, family picnics, senior education and activity and more.

All members involved in the project would like to give thanks to the community for helping bring this vision to life.
