"It's a relief but it's exciting," said Vicki Fabry, majority owner of Legacy Hotel. "We did it, we pulled this thing together, it's incredible, we think."
WGBA has followed the progress of this hotel from ground breaking to a job fair last fall.
"We know what it does, we know what it can bring, we know what it adds to the city of Green Bay," Fabry said.
The hotel features 83 studio suites, 15 signature suites and three grand penthouse suites.
Rooms will range from $160/night for a studio and about $560/night for a penthouse-stay.
Dining options include a rooftop bar and grille, a coffee shop and restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
"I think the word has been out for a long time that we have something special," Fabry said.
A number of factors delayed plans to launch in Fall 2023.
"In the construction industry, you're dealing with supply chain issues and things that happen and materials that are supposed to be here at one point and then they don't show up for a little bit," Rich Otradoveck, president and CEO of Rodac development and construction, said.
"I hope that this will be a place that will inspire you to honor your past legacies, to create new and to live your legacies," Fabry said.
Fabry said the NFL has already reserved a lot of rooms for the 2025 NFL Draft but some will still be available.
Hotel staff also said they are still hiring. Click here to learn more about the available positions.
