FOND DU LAC (NBC 26) — The City of Fond du Lac Police is investigating a shooting incident that occurred at 10:08 p.m. on Friday night.
Police Officers were called to the Mobile Station at 326 N. Peters Avenue for a report of a male who shot himself in the leg, as stated by the Fond du Lac Police Department.
Upon arrival, officers began life-saving measures, which were continued by Fond du Lac Fire/ Rescue Paramedics.
The 21-year-old Fond du Lac man was transported to the hospital and is in serious but stable condition.
A preliminary investigation indicated that this incident was an accidental discharge of a firearm.
