Chris spent much of his life growing up in Maryland outside of Washington DC before moving back to his birthplace in the Philadelphia suburbs of New Jersey. He recently moved to Fairfield, Connecticut. He enjoys watching sports and is an avid skier who loves the snow.
Chris Lemmo joined the NBC 26 team as a multimedia journalist in June of 2022.
He is a graduate of the class of 2022 at Penn State University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism from the Bellisario School of Communications and certificates in sports broadcasting and weather forecasting.
During his time there, he was a multimedia journalist and anchor with the school’s Centre County Report which is broadcast around central and western Pennsylvania. Chris also did weekly segments as part of Penn State Sports Night and was a meteorologist for Penn State News.
