APPLETON (NBC 26) -- Appleton's first coronavirus-related death has been reported to the Appleton Health Department.
An Appleton man in his 80s who was hospitalized with coronavirus died Monday, according to the health department.
The department is monitoring the health of four other community members who have tested positive for coronavirus. Those individuals have been educated about self-monitoring their health status by health department nurses, according to the health department. The individuals are required to do daily symptom and temperature checks; as well as quarantine themselves for 14 days as a precaution.
