The Green Bay Packers' 17th Family Night has been scheduled for Saturday, August 5, the team announced Thursday.

NBC26, in conjunction with TODAY'S TMJ4 in Milwaukee, will be this year's exclusive media partner of 'Family Night' and will air a statewide telecast of the event.

Family Night is an annual tradition that serves as an introduction to the 2017 Green Bay Packers. The format this year will once again be a full practice, including 11-on-11 sessions with live contact, in front of a capacity crowd at Lambeau Field.

Events are focused around the whole family - including a picnic before hand and a fireworks show at the end of the night, both sponsored by Pick 'n Save. Proceeds from the evening's events go to benefit the Wendy's Wonderful Kids foster care adoption program.

Also included in the activities that night will be the Chili's "Jersey Off Our Backs" promotion. Jerseys worn during the practice will be given away in a random drawing.

Tickets go on sale June 28 at 10:00 a.m. and are priced at $10. There's a limit of 10 tickets per purchase. You can find them on Ticketmaster, over the phone at 800-745-3000, or at the Packer's ticket office.

In case of inclement weather, no refunds will be issued unless all stadium activities are canceled, the team says.
