Police Investigators believe alcohol and sub-zero temperatures contributed to the death of a woman found outside Rendezvous Bar in Green Bay.
At 7:39 a.m. Monday, Green Bay officers responded to the Rendezvous Bar, 2928 W. Mason St., for a medical call. Officers found a dead woman in her 40s who is an Oneida resident, outside the bar.
The woman's name is not being released as the next of kin have to be notified. There is no foul play suspected nor danger to the community.
Due to the frigid temperatures, the Green Bay Police Department is providing the following tips to protect yourself from being a victim of the cold:
• Dress accordingly as being outside for an extended period of time could result in a medical emergency
• Travel in groups. If one person needs assistance, the other can summon aid
• Use a designated driver or call a cab if you need a ride.
• Have a plan and let others know what the plan is.
