Two men have been arrested after a shooting in Grand Chute Sunday left an Appleton man dead.
A 17-year-old and 19-year old, both from Grand Chute, are in custody. The 19-year-old man faces charges of first degree intentional homicide and manufacturing/delivering marijuana. The 17-year-old also faces marijuana charges and possession of a firearm by a felon.
Appleton and Grand Chute police responded to the 600-block of South Olson Avenue Sunday afternoon for a report of gunshots.
When authorities arrived on scene, they found the body of an Appleton man in a driveway with gunshot wounds.
Neighbors said it was a scary situation.
"My roommate was in the backyard and he heard the gunshots...and as soon as I walked in the door cops just started plugging the street," one neighbor explained. I felt like the whole Grand Chute and Appleton police departments were right on this street. It was crazy, and the cops were here until midnight."
Police said the three men were arguing and the disagreement turned physical, although officers have not said what they were arguing about.
