Two people were killed Monday after a semi vs. SUV crash in Waupaca County.
Deputies responded to the crash on State Highway 156 at County Highway Y in the Town of Matteson around 11:20 a.m.
Witnesses told police the SUV did not stop at a stop sign on County Highway Y and was struck by the semi.
The two people inside the SUV, an 82-year-old woman and her 86-year-old male passenger, both from Clintonville, were pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the semi was not hurt.
The incident is still under investigation. State Highway 156 was shut down for several hours.
