Two cattle die during Town of Oneida barn fire

TOWN OF ONEIDA, Wis—Firefighters from 12 different departments worked overnight to put out a barn fire.
 
It happened around 10:00 p.m. Saturday on Bain Road. Crews remained on scene until 5:00 a.m. Sunday.
 
Town of Oneida Fire Chief Chet Olson says there were more than 100 animals in the barn, and all but two cattle made it out safely.

The barn is a total loss.
 
No firefighters were injured.
 
The cause remains under investigation.
 
12 fire departments responded along with the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Department and police from Oneida, and Hobart.
