Those who have dedicated their lives to farming in Wisconsin were honored Tuesday at the Wisconsin State Fair during the Sesquicentennial and Century Farm Awards.

The awards recognize farms that have been in the state for 100 or 150 years.

This year, 51 farms were honored for reaching the 150-year mark, joining 785 others. This is the 20th year those farms are being honored.

132 properties joined the Century club of farms in the state.

One of those 100-year-old farms belongs to Joe and Carol Moravchik, parents of NBC26 News Director Julie Moravchik. Their farm is located in Ino, Wisconsin, near Ashland, in Bayfield County.

Congratulations!
