A drug deal gone wrong allegedly led to a fatal shooting in Grand Chute Sunday.

Benjamin A. Graves, 20, of Appleton was killed after an argument over a marijuana deal, court documents said.

Trevor Teela, 19, and Elian Coronado, 17, both of Grand Chute, were charged Tuesday in Outagamie County court in connection to the crime.

The three were arguing Sunday afternoon on the 600 block of South Olson Ave over a marijuana deal and Teela allegedly shot Graves in the chest, according to court documents.

He then hid the gun in his basement, police said. Investigators also found marijuana in his bedroom, according to documents.

Because he has a history with law enforcement, Teela could face a life sentence. His bond was set at $500,000.

Coronado allegedly helped to provide the marijuana and had a gun, but didn't shoot, the criminal complaint said. He ran and buried his gun his backyard because he is a felon and is not supposed to have a gun, according to court documents.

His bond was set at $200,000.

The two cannot have contact with each other and must stay sober. Teela cannot possess any weapons.

Teela will be back in court on October 19. Coronado will appear again October 12.
