A UW-Oshkosh student was allegedly the victim of a strong armed robbery Tuesday while walking near campus.

The 19-year-old student told police he was walking on the 800 block of Elmwood Ave around 9:30 p.m. on November 14 when two men approached him. They were wearing hooded sweatshirts and had duffle bags with over the shoulder straps, he told officers.

The two took personal items from the student and might have had a weapon, police said. The student was not injured.

The UW-Oshkosh Police Department issued a Titan Alert.
