Oshkosh Police are investigating a suspicious fire that happened overnight at Winnebago County Park.

At 2:43 a.m. on September 1, crews were called to a report of a structure fire at the park.

When officers arrived, they found a park pavilion completely engulfed in flames, police said. The fire is under investigation.

The Oshkosh United Soccer Club said in a Facebook post that the pavilion was a soccer shelter built by OUSC and Oshkosh Youth Soccer Club in the early 1990s.

They said they do plan to rebuild.

If you have any information, you're asked to contact Oshkosh Police or Winnebago County Wide Crime Stoppers at (920) 231-8477.
