The Oshkosh Area Humane Society has offered free cat adoptions for the month of November in its Paw it Forward campaign.
All cats and kittens are free for the month. They are spayed, neutered and up to date on vaccinations.
OAHS is also hoping adopters will "paw it forward" by making a donation to help more animals get the care they need.
“The holidays can be a stressful time financially for a lot of people and we don’t want a temporary money crunch to prevent people from adopting," said OAHS Executive Director Joni Geiger. "We’d like to get more animals in homes in time for the holidays so people can relax and spend time with their new family members."
