The Green Lake County Sheriff said one person is dead after an early morning house fire.
The fire broke out around 4:45 a.m. Friday near the intersection of Wisconsin 44 and Little Green Lake Road in Markesan.
The sheriff said the home is a total loss.
The state fire marshal's office is on the way to the scene to investigate.
The identity of the victim is unknown at this time.
