Sheboygan Falls plane crash victims identified

The Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office has identified the plane crash victims as the pilot, 67-year-old Dennis D. Hall from McHenry, Illinois and passenger, 19-year-old Filip J Smecko from Janesville, Wisconsin. 

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

Two men are dead after a plane crash in Sheboygan Falls, according to the Sheboygan County Sheriff's Department.

The sheriff's office received a 911 call from a witness saying a plane crashed near County Highway O and Willow Road just after 12:30 p.m., deputies said.

Investigators found the plane in a farm field at N6217 Willow Road.

The plane was an Aerotek Pitts S-2A Fixed Wing Single-Engine aircraft. 

Two adult men were killed in the crash.

Investigators do not believe the plane was from Sheboygan County.

The incident is still under investigation by the Sheboygan County Sheriff's Department, the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board.

Along with the Sheboygan County Sheriff's Department, the Town of Sheboygan Falls Fire Department, Town of Sheboygan Falls First Responders and Orange Cross Ambulance responded.
