A Menasha man has died from injuries suffered in a motorcycle versus car crash earlier in August.
Stephen Gebert, 65, was riding his motorcycle in the Town of Greenville on August 11 when he was hit by an alleged drunk driver, the Outagamie County Sheriff's Office said.
On Sunday, he died from his injuries, according to the sheriff's office. An autopsy found Mr. Gebert died from "multiple blunt force traumatic injuries."
The crash happened just before 9:30 p.m. August 11 on State Highway 15 near Hyacinth Drive.
Kendra Bruley, 24, of Freedom was charged with injury by intoxicated use of a vehicle. The Outagamie County Sheriff's Office has asked the DA to amend the charge to homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle.
Gebert is the 16th person to die on Outagamie County roads this year, the sheriff's office said. Seven were alcohol related, five were not wearing seatbelts and four were related to excessive speed and inattentive driving.
