Man charged with allegedly severing a woman's finger and drinking her blood

Posted
A Suamico man is in the Brown County Jail after being accused of cutting off a woman's finger and drinking her blood as part of a ritual. 24-year-old Jonathan Schrap is charged with two felony counts of second degree reckless injury as a party to a crime and mayhem as a party to a crime.

Schrap is apparently a fan of Insane Clown Posse or ICP. He has tattoos on his arms of the Detroit-based rap group whose followers are known as Juggalos.

According to the criminal complaint, during an August 27th ritual at Schrap's home to mark the one year anniversary of a fellow "brother" who died, Schrap used a machete to cut a 27-year-old woman's forearm. Documents say Schrap "filled up a shot glass with her blood and.. drank her blood."

Court records also show, he then "cut off her left pinky finger" and "placed the severed finger in the freezer." He told the woman they would later "cook it and eat it."

When her bleeding wouldn't stop, they used "a car cigarette lighter to attempt to cauterize the wound." When it didn't work, documents say they tried "using a blow torch but this also failed."

Later that night, the woman's boyfriend and his mother drove her to HSHS St. Mary's Hospital where staff called police. The woman told officers "she did not want any charges pressed as she had given permission to have her finger cut off."

Schrap faces up to 52 and a half years in prison if he's convicted. He'll appear in court on September 21st for a preliminary hearing.

As far as the other two men who were allegedly at the Trenton Lane home at the time of the incident, they have not been charged in the case.
