The man accused of murdering his ex-girlfriend and her mother in Hobart in June of 2016 pleaded not guilty by nature of mental illness Tuesday.
Jacob Cayer, 27, appeared in Brown County court on charges of First Degree Intentional Homicide for the murders of his ex-girlfriend, Sabrina Teague, and her mother Heesun Teague.
According to court documents, Cayer allegedly stabbed Sabrina and her mother after entering their Hobart home in June of 2016. He's also accused of stabbing Sabrina's then boyfriend.
Cayer was previously found competent to stand trial in March. Another mental exam was requested in court Tuesday.
Cayer's bond will continue. He will be back in court on August 1.
