GREEN BAY, Wis. — A man is dead after having a medical emergency in police custody in Green Bay.
It happened Friday on the 1400 block of Shirley Street.
Officers received reports of several disturbances on the west side.
They found the man to be acting very erratic and not listening to officer commands.
He was taken into custody and then appeared to have some sort of medical emergency.
Officers provided medical assistance to the man.
The Green Bay Metro Fire Department also responded to the scene to provide further medical assistance.
The man was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The incident is under investigation.
