The driver of a car suffered serious injuries after colliding with a train Wednesday evening.
Authorities say the Union Pacific Railroad train was struck by the car shortly before midnight on Hoftiezer Road, east of Kappers Road in the Town of Holland.
The driver, a 24-year-old male, was transported to a local hospital.
The victim was not wearing a seat belt, according to the Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office.
