UPDATE: The deceased has been identified as Barbara A. Le Mense, a 64 year old resident of De Pere. Police do not suspect foul play at this time.

DE PERE (NBC 26) -- A person was found dead in a vehicle spotted in the Fox River, police said Tuesday.
According to De Pere Police, a witness called to report a vehicle in the Fox River located near the Bomier Boat Launch. Police investigated with the help of the De Pere Fire Rescue unmanned aircraft and Brown County Sheriff's Office's dive team.
With the assistance of a heavy duty tow truck, police said crews were able to recover the vehicle from the river. Police said a person was found dead in the vehicle.
Police do not believe there is any danger to the public regarding this case.
