The Oshkosh Police Department has taken four teens into custody for operating a motor vehicle without owner’s consent after a reckless driving complaint was reported to police today, June 5, 2017 at about 8:30 AM.
It happened in a parking lot on the 3300 block of W. 20th Avenue. Four teens got out of the vehicle at the 2500 block of W 20th Avenue and fled.
A perimeter was setup and police, along with the Winnebago County Sheriff's Department, were able to apprehend the suspects.
The four subjects, a 16 year-old female from Oshkosh and three males, ages 16, 15 and 14 and all from Oshkosh, were taken into custody for operating a motor vehicle without owner’s consent, resisting an officer and criminal trespassing.
The Ford Mustang was stolen out of Neenah.
Not long after the black Chevy truck was located south of W. 20th Avenue. It was determined that this vehicle had been stolen from the 1700 block of Central St. in Oshkosh earlier today.
