The first Democrat to announce he wants to take Governor Scott Walker's job stopped by NBC26 Wednesday to talk about his plans for the state.
25 year old Bob Harlow, from Barneveld, is an outsider to the world of politics, having never held office.
But he doesn't see it as a disadvantage.
"My whole professional experience, my whole experience through out my life, has been working in teams with people of diverse skill sets to solve complex problems, and achieving results," says Harlow, "and that's what I'll do as Governor for the people of Wisconsin."
Harlow is a recent graduate from Standford University, where he studied physics.
