Emergency crews were on the scene of a fire in the heart of Plymouth early Thursday morning.

Two people had minor injuries, and one tenant remains unaccounted for. Police are not sure if the tenant was home at the time the fire broke out.

It started around 1 a.m. at an apartment building on Mill Street in the downtown area.

Several fire departments were on the scene several hours later, pumping water from the river onto the structure and actively putting out hot spots.

The extent of the damage is not clear.
