The two parties battling for ownership rights to the Hotel Northland in downtown Green Bay settled their dispute in Brown County court today.
Judge William Atkinson ruled that co-developer Keith Harenda is the sole owner of the property, but he must fulfill some conditions.
Among those conditions are that he must pay former co-developer Mike Frantz half a million dollars.
"If things would have happened the way they should have with the senior lender, we would have never been in this situation, where we are today," Frantz said. "The hotel would be open now, and it's just too bad."
Harenda said he's just excited to get back to work.
"I'm tired of all the drama, moving forward," he said.
A new senior lender for the project will be announced by May 1, according to Green Bay Mayor Jim Schmitt.
In March, the Green Bay Common Council voted to delay consideration of an audit on the project, which has suffered several setbacks, including the loss of a $12.8 million loan from their former senior lender.
