A convicted rapist from New York has been indicted for allegedly driving to Shawano to have sex with a 15-year-old girl.

James Huskisson, 45, of Ozone Park, New York, was charged in federal court in Wisconsin for knowingly coercing and enticing the high school freshman to engage in unlawful sexual activity.

Huskisson, who also goes by the name Jason Desantes, is a registered sex offender who was previously convicted of two separate charges of first degree forcible rape in New York.

Authorities learned of the inappropriate relationship through an administrator at a Shawano County high school.

Huskisson started communicating with the teen in September of 2017 on Facebook Messenger, according to a criminal complaint. She told him she was only 15.

Over time, he asked for nude photos of the girl and sent her photos in return, the complaint said.

Later in September, Huskisson allegedly drove to Wisconsin and had sex with the teen, according to the complaint.

Investigators found photos and videos of the two together, the complaint said.

Huskisson was charged in federal court and will face the charges in Wisconsin.
