A family fight in an Allouez neighborhood that triggered a SWAT team response ended peacefully Wednesday night.
After a dispute, a man tore up parts of a home near Hoffman Road and East River Drive, authorities said.
The man retreated to an upstairs bedroom, which led to a standoff situation with deputies, according to a Brown County Sheriff's Department spokesman.
The suspect had knives and a crow bar, the spokesman said.
After negotiations, the man surrendered peacefully; no one was hurt.
Two children and two other adults were in the home at the time of the incident, authorities said.
