30 workers at Appvion in Appleton have received notice that they're losing their jobs.
The company says work at its distribution center on Kensington Drive and the Basestock Warehouse on Warehouse Road will be subcontracted to another company.
The layoffs will begin in November. The Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development and the Bay Area Workforce Development Area Rapid Response Teams have said they will provide assistance to affected workers to help prepare them to find new employment.
